וַיִּשְׁמַע֙ יוֹחָנָ֣ן בֶּן־קָרֵ֔חַ וְכָל־שָׂרֵ֥י הַחֲיָלִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר אִתּ֑וֹ אֵ֤ת כָּל־הָֽרָעָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂ֔ה יִשְׁמָעֵ֖אל בֶּן־נְתַנְיָֽה׃
האָט געהערט יוֹחנָן דער זון פֿון קָרֵחן, און אַלע הױפּטלײַט פֿון חיל װאָס מיט אים, דאָס גאַנצע בײז װאָס יִשמָעֵאל דער זון פֿון נתַניָהן האָט אָפּגעטאָן.
