וַֽיִּלְכְּד֡וּ שְׁנֵֽי־שָׂרֵ֨י מִדְיָ֜ן אֶת־עֹרֵ֣ב וְאֶת־זְאֵ֗ב וַיַּהַרְג֨וּ אֶת־עוֹרֵ֤ב בְּצוּר־עוֹרֵב֙ וְאֶת־זְאֵב֙ הָרְג֣וּ בְיֶֽקֶב־זְאֵ֔ב וַֽיִּרְדְּפ֖וּ אֶל־מִדְיָ֑ן וְרֹאשׁ־עֹרֵ֣ב וּזְאֵ֔ב הֵבִ֙יאוּ֙ אֶל־גִּדְע֔וֹן מֵעֵ֖בֶר לַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃
און זײ האָבן געכאַפּט די צװײ האַרן פֿון מדין, עורבֿן און זאבֿן, און האָבן געהרגעט עורבֿן בײַ צור-עורבֿ און זאבֿן האָבן זײ געהרגעט אין יעקבֿ-זאבֿ; און זײ האָבן נאָכגעיאָגט מדין; און די קעפּ פֿון עורבֿן און זאבֿן האָבן זײ געבראַכט צו גדעונען פֿון יענער זײַט ירדן.
Rashi
like the smiting of Midian who were slain in one night, and as for the kings who fled from them and escaped, Oreb was slain at the Rock of Oreb, and is related in the Book of Judges (7:25). This one, too, after he returns to his land, will die there by the sword.
