כִּ֣י לֹ֧א קִדְּמ֛וּ אֶת־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בַּלֶּ֣חֶם וּבַמָּ֑יִם וַיִּשְׂכֹּ֨ר עָלָ֤יו אֶת־בִּלְעָם֙ לְקַֽלְל֔וֹ וַיַּהֲפֹ֧ךְ אֱלֹהֵ֛ינוּ הַקְּלָלָ֖ה לִבְרָכָֽה׃
װײַל זײ זײַנען ניט אַקעגנגעקומען די קינדער פֿון ישׂראל מיט ברױט און מיט װאַסער, און זײ האָבן אָנגעדונגען אױף זײ בלעָמען זײ צו שילטן, נאָר אונדזער גאָט האָט פֿאַרקערט די קללה אין אַ ברכה.
