וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶם֙ מֹשֶׁ֔ה אִֽם־תַּעֲשׂ֖וּן אֶת־הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֑ה אִם־תֵּחָֽלְצ֛וּ לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה לַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃
האָט משה צו זײ געזאָגט: אױב איר װעט טאָן די דאָזיקע זאַך, אױב איר װעט אײַך באַװאָפֿענען פֿאַר גאָטס אָנגעזיכט אױף מלחמה,
Deuteronomy
I commanded you at the time, saying, ‘‘Adonoy, your God, has given you this land to inherit it. Cross over in the forefront, ahead of your brothers the Bnei Yisroel, all valorous soldiers.
