וַֽיְחִ֣י אָדָ֗ם שְׁלֹשִׁ֤ים וּמְאַת֙ שָׁנָ֔ה וַיּ֥וֹלֶד בִּדְמוּת֖וֹ כְּצַלְמ֑וֹ וַיִּקְרָ֥א אֶת־שְׁמ֖וֹ שֵֽׁת׃

און אָָדָם האָט געלעבט הונדערט און דרײַסיק יאָר, און האָט געבאָרן אַ זון אין זײַן גלײַכעניש, אַזױ װי זײַן געשטאַלט, און האָט גערופֿן זײַן נאָמען שֵת.

Why, in the genealogy of Adam, Moses no longer mentions Cain, but only Seth, who, he says, was according to his appearance and form; on which account he proceeds to retain the generations which descend from him in his genealogy? (Genesis 5:3).
