איז מרדכי אַװעק, און האָט געטאָן אַזױ װי אַלץ װאָס אסתּר האָט אים באַפֿױלן.
Megillah
And Mordecai passed [vaya’avor]” (Esther 4:17). Rav said: This indicates that he made (shehe’evir) the first day of Passover a fast day. Shmuel said: It indicates that he crossed a stream [on that day].
