וַיָּבוֹא֮ הָמָן֒ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לוֹ֙ הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ מַה־לַעֲשׂ֕וֹת בָּאִ֕ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ חָפֵ֣ץ בִּיקָר֑וֹ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר הָמָן֙ בְּלִבּ֔וֹ לְמִ֞י יַחְפֹּ֥ץ הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת יְקָ֖ר יוֹתֵ֥ר מִמֶּֽנִּי׃
איז הָמָן אַרײַנגעקומען, און דער מלך האָט צו אים געזאָגט: װאָס דאַרף מען טאָן מיט אַ מאַן װאָס דער מלך װיל אים אָנטאָן כּבוד? האָט הָמָן געקלערט בײַ זיך אין האַרצן: װעמען װעט דער מלך װעלן אָנטאָן כּבוד אַחוץ מיר?
Megillah
It has been taught: R. Elazar said: Esther was composed under the inspiration of the holy spirit, as it says, “And Haman said in his heart” (Esther 6:6). R. Akiva says: Esther was composed under the inspiration of the holy spirit, as it says, “And Esther obtained favor in the eyes of all that looked upon her” (2:15).
