וַיִּפֹּ֛ל עַל־צַוְּארֵ֥י בִנְיָמִֽן־אָחִ֖יו וַיֵּ֑בְךְּ וּבִנְיָמִ֔ן בָּכָ֖ה עַל־צַוָּארָֽיו׃
און ער איז געפֿאַלן אױפֿן האַלדז פֿון זײַן ברודער בנימינען, און האָט געװײנט, און בנימין האָט געװײנט אױף זײַן האַלדז.
Megillah
“And he fell upon his brother Benjamin’s necks” (Genesis 45:14). How many necks did Benjamin have? R. Elazar said: He wept for the two Temples which were destined to be in the territory of Benjamin and to be destroyed. “And Benjamin wept upon his neck”: he wept for the tabernacle of Shiloh which was destined to be in the territory of Joseph and to be destroyed.
