תּלמוד אויף בראשית 46:2

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֤ים ׀ לְיִשְׂרָאֵל֙ בְּמַרְאֹ֣ת הַלַּ֔יְלָה וַיֹּ֖אמֶר יַעֲקֹ֣ב ׀ יַעֲקֹ֑ב וַיֹּ֖אמֶר הִנֵּֽנִי׃

און גאָט האָט גערעדט צו ישׂראלן אין זעונגען פֿון דער נאַכט, און האָט געזאָגט: יעקב, יעקב! האָט ער געזאָגט: דאָ בין איך.

No; it is different here, because the Scriptures afterwards repeat [his old name] ; as it is written, "And God spoke unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob" (ibid. xlvi. 2).
