Shabbat

And Rabbi Yehoshua ben Levi said: When Moses went up to the heavens, the ministering angels said before the Holy One, Blessed Be He: Master of the universe, why is someone born of a woman among us? He said to them: To receive the Torah he came. They said before Him: It is a hidden delight that was hidden by you for nine hundred and seventy four generations before the world was created. And you wish to give it a flesh and blood? (Psalms 8:5) "What is man that You have been mindful of him, mortal man that You have taken note of him?" (Psalms 8:2) "Lord, how majestic is your name throughout the earth, You who have covered the heavens with Your splendor."
