יֹ֣אבַד י֭וֹם אִוָּ֣לֶד בּ֑וֹ וְהַלַּ֥יְלָה אָ֝מַ֗ר הֹ֣רָה גָֽבֶר׃
אונטערגײן זאָל דער טאָגװאָס איך בין אין אים געבאָרן געװאָרן, און די נאַכט װאָס האָט אָנגעזאָגט:אַ ייִנגל איז אַנטפֿאַנגען געװאָרן.
Lamentations
I [(Jeremiah, am the prophet who)] has seen affliction [(i.e., the destruction of the Temple), more so than any other prophet who foretold it (it not having taken place in their days, but in mine)], by the rod of His wrath.
