וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לְאַבְרָ֗ם יָדֹ֨עַ תֵּדַ֜ע כִּי־גֵ֣ר ׀ יִהְיֶ֣ה זַרְעֲךָ֗ בְּאֶ֙רֶץ֙ לֹ֣א לָהֶ֔ם וַעֲבָד֖וּם וְעִנּ֣וּ אֹתָ֑ם אַרְבַּ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָֽה׃
און ער האָט געזאָגט צו אבֿרמען: װיסן זאָלסטו װיסן זײַן אַז דײַנע קינדער װעלן זײַן פֿרעמדע אין אַ לאַנד װאָס ניט זײערס, און מע װעט זײ פֿאַרקנעכטן, און מע װעט זײ פּײַניקן פֿיר הונדערט יאָר.

They appointed conscription officers over him to oppress him with their burdens. He [B’nei Yisrael] built supply cities for Pharaoh, Pisom and Ramseis.
