וּמֵעֵ֗ץ הַדַּ֙עַת֙ ט֣וֹב וָרָ֔ע לֹ֥א תֹאכַ֖ל מִמֶּ֑נּוּ כִּ֗י בְּי֛וֹם אֲכָלְךָ֥ מִמֶּ֖נּוּ מ֥וֹת תָּמֽוּת׃
אָבער פֿון דעם בױם פֿון װיסן גוטס און שלעכטס, פֿון אים זאָלסטו ניט עסן, װאָרום אין דעם טאָג װאָס דו עסט פֿון אים, װעסטו זיכער שטאַרבן.
Genesis
To the man He said, Because you listened to your wife, and ate from the tree which I commanded you, saying, Do not eat from it; the soil will be cursed because of you. In sorrow you shall eat from it all the days of your life.
