לֹֽא־יָקוּם֩ עֵ֨ד אֶחָ֜ד בְּאִ֗ישׁ לְכָל־עָוֺן֙ וּלְכָל־חַטָּ֔את בְּכָל־חֵ֖טְא אֲשֶׁ֣ר יֶֽחֱטָ֑א עַל־פִּ֣י ׀ שְׁנֵ֣י עֵדִ֗ים א֛וֹ עַל־פִּ֥י שְׁלֹשָֽׁה־עֵדִ֖ים יָק֥וּם דָּבָֽר׃
עס זאָל ניט אױפֿשטײן אײן עדות קעגן אַ מאַן װעגן אַ שום פֿאַרברעך אָדער אַ שום פֿאַרזינדיקונג – אין אַ שום זינד װאָס ער האָט געזינדיקט; דורך דעם מױל פֿון צװײ עדות, אָדער דורך דעם מױל פֿון דרײַ עדות, זאָל אַ זאַך באַשטײן.
Deuteronomy
By the speech of two witnesses or three witnesses is the guilty one to be executed; he is not to be executed by the oral testimonoy of one witness.
Numbers
If anyone kills a person, only upon the testimony of witnesses shall the murderer be killed. But one witness may not testify against a person, in a case of capital punishment.

And do not accept atonement compensation for the life of a murderer who is wicked to incur the death penalty, for he must be executed.
