וְשָׂ֥ם לָהּ֙ עֲלִילֹ֣ת דְּבָרִ֔ים וְהוֹצִ֥יא עָלֶ֖יהָ שֵׁ֣ם רָ֑ע וְאָמַ֗ר אֶת־הָאִשָּׁ֤ה הַזֹּאת֙ לָקַ֔חְתִּי וָאֶקְרַ֣ב אֵלֶ֔יהָ וְלֹא־מָצָ֥אתִי לָ֖הּ בְּתוּלִֽים׃
און ער װעט מאַכן אױף איר אַ בלבול, און אַרױסלאָזן אױף איר אַ שֶם-רַע, און זאָגן: איך האָב גענומען די דאָזיקע װײַב, און איך האָב צו איר גענענט, און האָב בײַ איר ניט געפֿונען קײן בתולים;
Leviticus
You shall not hate your brother in your heart; You shall certainly rebuke your friend; [but] you shall not bear a sin on his account.
Deuteronomy
Look! He has promulgated libelous words, claiming ‘I did not find signs of your daughter’s virginity.’ But this is [the proof of] my daughter’s virginity.’’ And let them spread the cloth before the city judges.
