לֹֽא־תַעֲשׂ֨וּ לָכֶ֜ם אֱלִילִ֗ם וּפֶ֤סֶל וּמַצֵּבָה֙ לֹֽא־תָקִ֣ימוּ לָכֶ֔ם וְאֶ֣בֶן מַשְׂכִּ֗ית לֹ֤א תִתְּנוּ֙ בְּאַרְצְכֶ֔ם לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֺ֖ת עָלֶ֑יהָ כִּ֛י אֲנִ֥י יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃
איר זאָלט אײַך ניט מאַכן אָפּגעטער, און אַ געשניצטן געץ און אַ זײַלשטײן זאָלט איר אײַך ניט אױפֿשטעלן, און אַ שטײנבילד זאָלט איר ניט שטעלן אין אײַער לאַנד, זיך צו בוקן פֿאַר אים, װאָרום איך בין ה׳ אײַער גאָט.
Deuteronomy
Lest you destructively make for yourselves a statue in the image of any form, the representation of a male or a female;
Leviticus
He shall bring them to the kohein and he shall bring that which is for a sin-offering first. He [the kohein] shall shear its head [with his fingernail] opposite of its neck, but not separate [the head] completely.
