וְהֵבֵאתִ֨י עֲלֵיכֶ֜ם חֶ֗רֶב נֹקֶ֙מֶת֙ נְקַם־בְּרִ֔ית וְנֶאֱסַפְתֶּ֖ם אֶל־עָרֵיכֶ֑ם וְשִׁלַּ֤חְתִּי דֶ֙בֶר֙ בְּת֣וֹכְכֶ֔ם וְנִתַּתֶּ֖ם בְּיַד־אוֹיֵֽב׃
און איך װעל ברענגען אױף אײַך אַ שװערד, װאָס װעט זיך נוֹקם זײַן די נקמה פֿון דעם בונד, און איר װעט זיך פֿאַרקלײַבן אין אײַערע שטעט. און איך װעל אָנשיקן אַ מגפה צװישן אײַך, און איר װעט געגעבן װערן אין דער האַנט פֿון דעם פײַנט.

And now if you listen diligently to My voice, and preserve My covenant; you shall be beloved before Me than My special treasure among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine.

These are the statements of the covenant that Adonoy commanded Moshe to ratify with Bnei Yisroel in the land of Moav, beside the covenant that he had made with them at Choreiv.
