וְנָתַתִּ֤י אֶת־עָֽרֵיכֶם֙ חָרְבָּ֔ה וַהֲשִׁמּוֹתִ֖י אֶת־מִקְדְּשֵׁיכֶ֑ם וְלֹ֣א אָרִ֔יחַ בְּרֵ֖יחַ נִיחֹֽחֲכֶֽם׃
און איך װעל מאַכן פֿון אײַערע שטעט אַ חורבן, און װעל פֿאַרװיסטן אײַערע הײליקטומען, און װעל ניט שמעקן אײַערע געשמאַקע ריחות.
II Chronicles
then I will uproot them from My land that I have given them, and I will cast away from My face the house which I consecrated to My name [viz. Leviticus 26:31], and I will make it a proverb and a byword [(for derision)] among all the peoples.
