וַיְהֻמֵּ֤ם יְהוָה֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיַּכֵּ֥ם מַכָּֽה־גְדוֹלָ֖ה בְּגִבְע֑וֹן וַֽיִּרְדְּפֵ֗ם דֶּ֚רֶךְ מַעֲלֵ֣ה בֵית־חוֹרֹ֔ן וַיַּכֵּ֥ם עַד־עֲזֵקָ֖ה וְעַד־מַקֵּדָֽה׃
און גאָט האָט זײ צעטומלט פֿאַר ישׂראל; און ער האָט זײ געשלאָגן אַ גרױסן שלאַק אין גִבֿעוֹן, און האָט זײ נאָכגעיאָגט אױף דעם װעג פֿון דעם אַרױפֿגאַנג פֿון בית-חוֹרוֹן, און זײ געשלאָגן ביז עַזֵקָה, און ביז מַקֵדָה.
Deuteronomy
Adonoy, your God, will defeat them before you, and will confuse them with great confusion until they are destroyed.
Exodus
