וַיֶּאֶסֹ֧ף יְהוֹשֻׁ֛עַ אֶת־כָּל־שִׁבְטֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל שְׁכֶ֑מָה וַיִּקְרָא֩ לְזִקְנֵ֨י יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל וּלְרָאשָׁ֗יו וּלְשֹֽׁפְטָיו֙ וּלְשֹׁ֣טְרָ֔יו וַיִּֽתְיַצְּב֖וּ לִפְנֵ֥י הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃
און יהושוע האָט אײַנגעזאַמלט אַלע שבֿטים פֿון ישׂראל קײן שכם, און ער האָט גערופֿן די עלטסטע פֿון ישׂראל, און זײערע הױפּטלײַט, און זײערע ריכטער, און זײערע אױפֿזעער; און זײ האָבן זיך געשטעלט פֿאַר גאָט.
