וַיַּעֲל֤וּ מִן־הָעָם֙ שָׁ֔מָּה כִּשְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת אֲלָפִ֖ים אִ֑ישׁ וַיָּנֻ֕סוּ לִפְנֵ֖י אַנְשֵׁ֥י הָעָֽי׃
זײַנען אַרױפֿגעגאַנגען אַהין פֿון פֿאָלק אַרום דרײַ טױזנט מאַן; אָבער זײ זײַנען אַנטלאָפֿן פֿאַר די מענטשן פֿון עַי.
Genesis
They had not yet lain down when the men of the city, the men of Sedom, surrounded the house—young and old alike—all the people from one end [of the city] to the other end.
