וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ אֵלָ֗יו מֵאֶ֨רֶץ רְחוֹקָ֤ה מְאֹד֙ בָּ֣אוּ עֲבָדֶ֔יךָ לְשֵׁ֖ם יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ כִּֽי־שָׁמַ֣עְנוּ שָׁמְע֔וֹ וְאֵ֛ת כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָׂ֖ה בְּמִצְרָֽיִם׃
האָבן זײ צו אים געזאָגט: פֿון זײער אַ װײַטן לאַנד זײַנען געקומען דײַנע קנעכט, צוליב דעם נאָמען פֿון ה׳ דײַן גאָט; װאָרום מיר האָבן געהערט זײַן הערונג, און אַלץ װאָס ער האָט געטאָן אין מִצרַיִם,
Deuteronomy
You are fortunate, Yisroel, who can compare to you—a people saved by Adonoy, the shield of your aid and who [provides the victory of] the sword of your glory; and your enemies will prevaricate to you, while you tread on their high places.’’
