וַתֹּ֗אמֶר אֲלַקֳטָה־נָּא֙ וְאָסַפְתִּ֣י בָֽעֳמָרִ֔ים אַחֲרֵ֖י הַקּוֹצְרִ֑ים וַתָּב֣וֹא וַֽתַּעֲמ֗וֹד מֵאָ֤ז הַבֹּ֙קֶר֙ וְעַד־עַ֔תָּה זֶ֛ה שִׁבְתָּ֥הּ הַבַּ֖יִת מְעָֽט׃
און זי האָט געזאָגט: לאָמיך קלײַבן, איך בעט דיך, און אױפֿזאַמלען צװישן די גאַרבן הינטער די שניטערס; און זי איז געקומען און איז געשטאַנען פֿון זינט פֿרימאָרגן אַזש ביז אַצונד; דאָס בלײַבן אירס אין דער הײם איז בלױז געװען אַ װײַלע.
Leviticus
When you will reap the harvest of your land, you shall not completely reap a corner of your field, and the gleanings of your harvest you shall not gather.
Deuteronomy
When you reap your reaping in your field, and you forget a sheaf in the field, you may not return to take it; for the proselyte, for the orphan, and for the widow let it be; in order that Adonoy, your God, will bless you in all your endeavors.
