וְסַרְנֵ֣י פְלִשְׁתִּ֗ים נֶֽאֱסְפוּ֙ לִזְבֹּ֧חַ זֶֽבַח־גָּד֛וֹל לְדָג֥וֹן אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֖ם וּלְשִׂמְחָ֑ה וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ נָתַ֤ן אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ בְּיָדֵ֔נוּ אֵ֖ת שִׁמְשׁ֥וֹן אוֹיְבֵֽינוּ׃
און די פֿירשטן פֿון די פּלִשתּים האָבן זיך אײַנגעזאַמלט צו שלאַכטן אַ גרױסע שלאַכטונג צו זײער גאָט דגון, און זיך צו פֿרײען, װאָרום זײ האָבן געזאָגט: אונדזער גאָט האָט געגעבן אין אונדזער האַנט אונדזער פֿײַנט שמשונען.
