וַיַּ֣עַשׂ יְהוֹשֻׁ֗עַ כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר אָֽמַר־לוֹ֙ מֹשֶׁ֔ה לְהִלָּחֵ֖ם בַּעֲמָלֵ֑ק וּמֹשֶׁה֙ אַהֲרֹ֣ן וְח֔וּר עָל֖וּ רֹ֥אשׁ הַגִּבְעָֽה׃
האָט יהוֹשועַ געטאָן אַזױ װי משה האָט אים אָנגעזאָגט – מלחמה צו האַלטן מיט עַמָלֵק. און משה, אַהרן, און חור זײַנען אַרױפֿגעגאַנגען אױפֿן שפּיץ באַרג.
Exodus
Moshe wrote down all the words of Adonoy. He arose early in the morning, and built an altar beneath the mountain, and [also] twelve monuments [pillars] for the twelve tribes of [the B’nei] Yisrael.
