וַיִּצְעַ֤ק מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל־יְהוָ֣ה לֵאמֹ֔ר מָ֥ה אֶעֱשֶׂ֖ה לָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֑ה ע֥וֹד מְעַ֖ט וּסְקָלֻֽנִי׃
האָט משה געשריען צו גאָט, אַזױ צו זאָגן: װאָס זאָל איך טאָן צו דעם דאָזיקן פֿאָלק? נאָך אַ ביסל און זײ װעלן מיך פֿאַרשטײנען.
Exodus
Moshe said, “It would not be proper to do so. For that which is abominable [sacred] to Egypt we intend to sacrifice to Adonoy, our God. Could we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes and not have them stone us?
