בֵּינִ֗י וּבֵין֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל א֥וֹת הִ֖וא לְעֹלָ֑ם כִּי־שֵׁ֣שֶׁת יָמִ֗ים עָשָׂ֤ה יְהוָה֙ אֶת־הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם וְאֶת־הָאָ֔רֶץ וּבַיּוֹם֙ הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔י שָׁבַ֖ת וַיִּנָּפַֽשׁ׃ (ס)
צװישן מיר און צװישן די קינדער פֿון ישׂראל איז דאָס אַ צײכן אױף אײביק, אַז זעקס טעג האָט גאָט געמאַכט דעם הימל און די ערד, און אױפֿן זיבעטן טאָג האָט ער אױפֿגעהערט און גערוט.
Genesis
Elohim completed by the seventh day His work which He had made, and He abstained on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.
Exodus
You may do your work six days, but on the seventh day you must cease; so that your ox and your donkey may rest, and the son of your female slave may be refreshed, and [also] the stranger.
