וַיִּקַּ֛ח יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהִ֖ים אֶת־הָֽאָדָ֑ם וַיַּנִּחֵ֣הוּ בְגַן־עֵ֔דֶן לְעָבְדָ֖הּ וּלְשָׁמְרָֽהּ׃
און גאָט דער האַר האָט גענומען דעם מענטשן, און האָט אים אַרײַנגעזעצט אין גאָרטן פֿון עֵדֶן, אים צו באַאַרבעטען און אים צו היטן.
Targum Jonathan
And the Lord God took the man from the mountain of worship, where he had been created, and made him dwell in the garden of Eden, to do service in the law, and to keep its commandments.
