וְאִם־אָס֖וֹן יִהְיֶ֑ה וְנָתַתָּ֥ה נֶ֖פֶשׁ תַּ֥חַת נָֽפֶשׁ׃
אױב אָבער אַן אומגליק װעט געשען, זאָלסטו געבן אַ נפֿש פֿאַר אַ נפש.
Targum Jonathan
But if death befall her, then thou shalt judge the life of the killer for the life of the woman.
וְאִם־אָס֖וֹן יִהְיֶ֑ה וְנָתַתָּ֥ה נֶ֖פֶשׁ תַּ֥חַת נָֽפֶשׁ׃
