מֵאַ֤יִן לִי֙ בָּשָׂ֔ר לָתֵ֖ת לְכָל־הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֑ה כִּֽי־יִבְכּ֤וּ עָלַי֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר תְּנָה־לָּ֥נוּ בָשָׂ֖ר וְנֹאכֵֽלָה׃
פֿון װאַנען האָב איך פֿלײש, צו געבן דעם דאָזיקן גאַנצן פֿאָלק, װאָס זײ װײנען אױף מיר, אַזױ צו זאָגן: גיב אונדז פֿלײש, מיר זאָלן עסן?
Targum Jonathan
Whence am I to find meat to give all this people? for they are cry crying to me, say saying Give us flesh that we may eat.
