וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לוֹ֙ מֹשֶׁ֔ה הַֽמְקַנֵּ֥א אַתָּ֖ה לִ֑י וּמִ֨י יִתֵּ֜ן כָּל־עַ֤ם יְהוָה֙ נְבִיאִ֔ים כִּי־יִתֵּ֧ן יְהוָ֛ה אֶת־רוּח֖וֹ עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃
האָט משה צו אים געזאָגט: נעמסטו זיך אָן פֿאַר מיר? הלװאַי זאָל דאָס גאַנצע פֿאָלק פֿון גאָט זײַן נבֿיאים, אַז גאָט זאָל געבן זײַן גײַסט אױף זײ!
Targum Jonathan
But Mosheh said to him, Because they prophesy concerning me that I am to be gathered from the world, and that thou art to minister after me, art thou jealous for my sake? I would that all the Lord's people were prophets, and that He would bestow the Spirit of prophecy upon them.
