וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֗ה פְּקֹ֨ד כָּל־בְּכֹ֤ר זָכָר֙ לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מִבֶּן־חֹ֖דֶשׁ וָמָ֑עְלָה וְשָׂ֕א אֵ֖ת מִסְפַּ֥ר שְׁמֹתָֽם׃
און גאָט האָט געזאָגט צו משהן: צײל אַלע ערשטגעבאָרענע מאַנספּאַרשױנען פֿון די קינדער פֿון ישׂראל פֿון אַ חוֹדש אַלט און העכער, און נעם אױף די צאָל פֿון זײערע נעמען.
Targum Jonathan
And the Lord said unto Mosheh, Number all the first-bon males among the sons of Israel, from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.

Then God said to Moses, "Count all the firstborn males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names."
