וְהָי֤וּ לִמְאוֹרֹת֙ בִּרְקִ֣יעַ הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם לְהָאִ֖יר עַל־הָאָ֑רֶץ וַֽיְהִי־כֵֽן׃
און זײ זאָלן זײַן פֿאַר ליכטער אין דעם אױסשפּרײט פֿון הימל, צו לײַכטן אױף דער ערד. און עס איז אַזױ געשען.
Targum Jonathan
And let them be for luminaries in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth. And it was so.

And there were lights in the layer of the heavens, to shine upon the Earth; and it was so.
