וְהָיָ֗ה כִּֽי־יִרְא֤וּ אֹתָךְ֙ הַמִּצְרִ֔ים וְאָמְר֖וּ אִשְׁתּ֣וֹ זֹ֑את וְהָרְג֥וּ אֹתִ֖י וְאֹתָ֥ךְ יְחַיּֽוּ׃
איז, װי די מִצרים װעלן דיך זען, אַזױ װעלן זײ זאָגן: דאָס איז זײַן װײַב; און זײ װעלן מיך הרגען, און דיך װעלן זײ לאָזן לעבן.
Targum Jonathan
It will be, therefore, when the Mizraee see thee, and view thy beauty, that they will say, This is his wife; and they will kill me, and thee will keep alive.
