בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא כָּרַ֧ת יְהוָ֛ה אֶת־אַבְרָ֖ם בְּרִ֣ית לֵאמֹ֑ר לְזַרְעֲךָ֗ נָתַ֙תִּי֙ אֶת־הָאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֔את מִנְּהַ֣ר מִצְרַ֔יִם עַד־הַנָּהָ֥ר הַגָּדֹ֖ל נְהַר־פְּרָֽת׃
אין יענעם טאָג האָט גאָט געשלאָסן אַ בונד מיט אבֿרמען, אַזױ צו זאָגן: צו דײַן זאָמען האָב איך געגעבן דאָס דאָזיקע לאַנד, פֿון דעם טײַך פֿון מִצרַיִם ביז דעם גרױסן טײַך, דעם טײַך פּרָת;

In that day the Lord ordained a covenant with Abram, that He would not judge therein his sons, but would deliver them from the kingdom, saying, To thy sons will I give this land, from Nilos of Mizraim unto the great river, the river Pherath,
