וְהַנָּחָשׁ֙ הָיָ֣ה עָר֔וּם מִכֹּל֙ חַיַּ֣ת הַשָּׂדֶ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָׂ֖ה יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֑ים וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֶל־הָ֣אִשָּׁ֔ה אַ֚ף כִּֽי־אָמַ֣ר אֱלֹהִ֔ים לֹ֣א תֹֽאכְל֔וּ מִכֹּ֖ל עֵ֥ץ הַגָּֽן׃
און די שלאַנג איז געװען ליסטיקער פֿון אַלע חיות פֿון פֿעלד װאָס גאָט דער האַר האָט געמאַכט, און זי האָט געזאָגט צו דער פֿרױ: ניט-שױן האָט גאָט געזאָגט, איר זאָלט ניט עסן פֿון קײן בױם פֿון גאָרטן?
Targum Jonathan
And the serpent was wiser unto evil than all the beasts of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, Is it truth that the Lord God hath said, You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Tafsir Rasag
And the snake became wise among all the animals of the desert that God created. So He said to the woman, 'Surely, God said, 'Do not eat from all the trees of Paradise
