וַיֹּ֕אמֶר אֶת־קֹלְךָ֥ שָׁמַ֖עְתִּי בַּגָּ֑ן וָאִירָ֛א כִּֽי־עֵירֹ֥ם אָנֹ֖כִי וָאֵחָבֵֽא׃
האָט ער געענטפֿערט: איך האָב געהערט דײַן קול אין גאָרטן, און איך האָב מורא געהאַט, װײַל איך בין נאַקעט, האָב איך מיך באַהאַלטן.
Targum Jonathan
And he said, The voice of Thy Word heard I in the garden, and I was afraid, because I am naked; and the commandment which Thou didst teach me, I have transgressed; therefore I hid myself from shame.
