וַיָּ֖מָת חֻשָׁ֑ם וַיִּמְלֹ֨ךְ תַּחְתָּ֜יו הֲדַ֣ד בֶּן־בְּדַ֗ד הַמַּכֶּ֤ה אֶת־מִדְיָן֙ בִּשְׂדֵ֣ה מוֹאָ֔ב וְשֵׁ֥ם עִיר֖וֹ עֲוִֽית׃
איז חושָם געשטאָרבן, און אױף זײַן אָרט האָט געקיניגט הַדַד דער זון פֿון בדַדן, װאָס האָט געשלאָגן מִדיָן אין פעלד פֿון מוֹאָב; און דער נאָמען פֿון זײַן שטאָט איז געװען עַוִית.
