וְהֵם֙ לֹ֣א יָֽדְע֔וּ כִּ֥י שֹׁמֵ֖עַ יוֹסֵ֑ף כִּ֥י הַמֵּלִ֖יץ בֵּינֹתָֽם׃
און זײ האָבן ניט געװוּסט אַז יוֹסף פֿאַרשטײט װאָרום אַ טאָלמעטש איז געװען צװישן זײ.

But they knew not that Joseph understood (heard) the holy language; for Menasheh was interpreter between them.
