וָאֶשְׁלַ֤ח מַלְאָכִים֙ מִמִּדְבַּ֣ר קְדֵמ֔וֹת אֶל־סִיח֖וֹן מֶ֣לֶךְ חֶשְׁבּ֑וֹן דִּבְרֵ֥י שָׁל֖וֹם לֵאמֹֽר׃
און איך האָב געשיקט שלוחים פֿון מדבר קדֵמוֹת צו סיחין דעם מלך פֿון חשבון – װערטער פֿון שלום, אַזױ צו זאָגן:

And I sent messengers from Nehardea, which is by the wilderness of Kedemoth, to Sihon king of the Amorites, with words of peace, saying,
