וְ֠הָיָה כִּֽי־תִמְצֶ֨אןָ אֹת֜וֹ רָע֣וֹת רַבּוֹת֮ וְצָרוֹת֒ וְ֠עָנְתָה הַשִּׁירָ֨ה הַזֹּ֤את לְפָנָיו֙ לְעֵ֔ד כִּ֛י לֹ֥א תִשָּׁכַ֖ח מִפִּ֣י זַרְע֑וֹ כִּ֧י יָדַ֣עְתִּי אֶת־יִצְר֗וֹ אֲשֶׁ֨ר ה֤וּא עֹשֶׂה֙ הַיּ֔וֹם בְּטֶ֣רֶם אֲבִיאֶ֔נּוּ אֶל־הָאָ֖רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֥ר נִשְׁבָּֽעְתִּי׃
איז, אַז אים װעלן טרעפֿן בײזן פֿיל און צרות װעט דאָס דאָזיקע געזאַנג זיך אָפּרופֿן אים אין פּנים צום עדות װאָרום עס װעט ניט פֿאַרגעסן װערן פֿון דעם מױל פֿון זײַן זאָמען; װײַל איך װײס זײַן טֶבֿע, װי ער באַגײט זיך הײַנט, נאָך אײדער איך האָב אים געבראַכט אין דעם לאַנד װאָס איך האָב צוגעשװאָרן.
Targum Jonathan
And when these many evils and troubles shall come upon them, then will this hymn bear witness to them for a testimony; for it is revealed before Me that it will not be forgotten on the lips of their children: for their evil disposition to which they are yielding today, even before I bring you into the promised land, is known to Me.
