וַיְצַוֵּ֣נוּ יְהוָ֗ה לַעֲשׂוֹת֙ אֶת־כָּל־הַחֻקִּ֣ים הָאֵ֔לֶּה לְיִרְאָ֖ה אֶת־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ לְט֥וֹב לָ֙נוּ֙ כָּל־הַיָּמִ֔ים לְחַיֹּתֵ֖נוּ כְּהַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃
און גאָט האָט אונדז באַפֿױלן צו טאָן אַלע די דאָזיקע געזעצן, מוֹרא צו האָבן פֿאַר ה׳ אונדזער גאָט, כּדי אונדז זאָל גוט זײַן אַלע טעג, כּדי אונדז צו לאָזן לעבן, אַזױ װי הײַנטיקן טאָג.
Targum Jonathan
And the Lord commanded us to perform all these statutes, that we may fear the Lord our God for good to us in all days, that He may preserve us alive as at the time of this day;
Tafsir Rasag
So Allah commanded us to observe these rites and to fear Allah, our Lord, that it may be well for us and that we may live long, as we do on this day.
