וּקְרָאתֶ֞ם בְּעֶ֣צֶם ׀ הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֗ה מִֽקְרָא־קֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ יִהְיֶ֣ה לָכֶ֔ם כָּל־מְלֶ֥אכֶת עֲבֹדָ֖ה לֹ֣א תַעֲשׂ֑וּ חֻקַּ֥ת עוֹלָ֛ם בְּכָל־מוֹשְׁבֹ֥תֵיכֶ֖ם לְדֹרֹֽתֵיכֶֽם׃
און איר זאָלט מאַכן אַן אױסרופונג אין דעם דאָזיקן אײגענעם טאָג; אַ הײליקע צונױפֿרופונג זאָל זײַן בײַ אײַך; קײן דינסטאַרבעט זאָלט איר ניט טאָן. אַן אײביק געזעץ אין אַלע אײַערע װוינערטער אױף אײַערע דוֹר-דוֹרות.
Targum Jonathan
And you shall proclaim with life and strength that self-same day, that at the time of that day there shall be to you a holy convocation: you shall do no work of labour: it is an everlasting statute in all your dwelling for your generations.
