לְמַעַן֮ יֵדְע֣וּ דֹרֹֽתֵיכֶם֒ כִּ֣י בַסֻּכּ֗וֹת הוֹשַׁ֙בְתִּי֙ אֶת־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בְּהוֹצִיאִ֥י אוֹתָ֖ם מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם אֲנִ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃
כּדי אײַערע דוֹר-דוֹרות זאָלן װיסן, אַז אין בײַדלעך האָב איך געמאַכט זיצן די קינדער פֿון ישׂראל, װען איך האָב זײ אַרױסגעוציגן פֿון לאַנד מִצרַיִם: איך בין ה׳ אײַער גאָט.
Targum Jonathan
That your generations may know how, under the shadow of the cloud of glory, I made the sons of Israel to dwell at the time that I brought them out redeemed from the land of Mizraim.
