אַף־אֲנִ֞י אֶֽעֱשֶׂה־זֹּ֣את לָכֶ֗ם וְהִפְקַדְתִּ֨י עֲלֵיכֶ֤ם בֶּֽהָלָה֙ אֶת־הַשַּׁחֶ֣פֶת וְאֶת־הַקַּדַּ֔חַת מְכַלּ֥וֹת עֵינַ֖יִם וּמְדִיבֹ֣ת נָ֑פֶשׁ וּזְרַעְתֶּ֤ם לָרִיק֙ זַרְעֲכֶ֔ם וַאֲכָלֻ֖הוּ אֹיְבֵיכֶֽם׃
װעל איך אױך טאָן דאָס דאָזיקע צו אײַך: איך װעל אָנזעצן אױף אײַך אַ בהלה – די דער, און קדחת, װאָס מאַכן אױסגײן די אױגן און פֿאַרשמאַכטן די זעל. און איר װעט זײען אײַער זאָמען אומנישט, װאָרום אײַערע פײַנט װעלן עס אױפֿעסן.
Targum Jonathan
this also will I do to you: I will draw out against you the smiting pestilence, the flame and the fever, to consume your eyes, and to exhaust life; and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for it shall not spring up, and that which groweth of itself shall your enemies devour.
