וַיַּחְתְּר֣וּ הָאֲנָשִׁ֗ים לְהָשִׁ֛יב אֶל־הַיַּבָּשָׁ֖ה וְלֹ֣א יָכֹ֑לוּ כִּ֣י הַיָּ֔ם הוֹלֵ֥ךְ וְסֹעֵ֖ר עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃
און די מענטשן האָבן גערודערט זיך אומצוקערן צו דער יבשה, אָבער זײ האָבן ניט געקענט, װאָרום דער ים האָט נאָכאַנאַנד געשטורעמט אַקעגן זײ.
Targum Jonathan
And the men sailed about to come to dry land, but they could not, because the sea was going and its cyclone was strengthening upon them.
