שְׂמַ֧ח בָּח֣וּר בְּיַלְדוּתֶ֗יךָ וִֽיטִֽיבְךָ֤ לִבְּךָ֙ בִּימֵ֣י בְחוּרוֹתֶ֔ךָ וְהַלֵּךְ֙ בְּדַרְכֵ֣י לִבְּךָ֔ וּבְמַרְאֵ֖י עֵינֶ֑יךָ וְדָ֕ע כִּ֧י עַל־כָּל־אֵ֛לֶּה יְבִֽיאֲךָ֥ הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים בַּמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃
פֿרײ זיך, בחור, אין דײַן יוגנט, און לאָז װױל גײן דײַן האַרץ אין דײַנע בָחורשע טעג, און גײ אין די װעגן פֿון דײַן האַרצן, און נאָך דער זעונג פֿון דײַנע אױגן; אָבער זײַ װיסן אַז פֿאַר אַלעם דעםװעט גאָט דיך ברענגען צום משפּט.

9. Rejoice, Youth, in the days of your youth, and let your heart be glad in the days of your boyhood, and walk humbly in the ways of your heart, and be careful in what you see not to see evil and know that for all these things 'ה will bring you to judgment.
