וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֗ה נְטֵ֤ה יָֽדְךָ֙ עַל־הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וִ֥יהִי חֹ֖שֶׁךְ עַל־אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם וְיָמֵ֖שׁ חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃
און גאָט האָט געזאָגט צו משהן: שטרעק אױס דײַן האַנט אַקעגן הימל, און זאָל װערן אַ פֿינצטערניש איבערן לאַנד מִצרַיִם, אַז מע זאָל קענען אָנטאַפּן די פֿינצטערניש.
Targum Jonathan
And the Lord said to Mosheh, Lift up thy hand towards the height of the heavens, and there shall be darkness over all the land of Mizraim, in the morning, at the passing away of the first darkness of the night.
