וַיֹּ֥אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֖ה לְחֹתְנ֑וֹ כִּֽי־יָבֹ֥א אֵלַ֛י הָעָ֖ם לִדְרֹ֥שׁ אֱלֹהִֽים׃
האָט משה געזאָגט צו זײַן שװער: װײַל דאָס פֿאָלק קומט צו מיר פֿרעגן בײַ גאָט;
Targum Jonathan
And Mosheh said to his father-in-law, Because the people come to me to inquire for instruction from before the Lord.
