שְׁבֻעַ֣ת יְהוָ֗ה תִּהְיֶה֙ בֵּ֣ין שְׁנֵיהֶ֔ם אִם־לֹ֥א שָׁלַ֛ח יָד֖וֹ בִּמְלֶ֣אכֶת רֵעֵ֑הוּ וְלָקַ֥ח בְּעָלָ֖יו וְלֹ֥א יְשַׁלֵּֽם׃
זאָל אַ שבועה פֿון גאָט זײַן צװישן זײ בײדן, אױב ער האָט ניט אױסגעשטרעקט זײַן האַנט אױף זײַן חבֿרס האָב; און איר בעל־הבית זאָל עס אָננעמען, און ער דאַרף ניט באַצאָלן.
Targum Jonathan
an oath of the Lord shall be between them both, that he hath not put forth his hand upon the property of his neighbour; and the owner of the thing shall accept his oath, and he shall not (be required to) make it good.
